Location
La Sablonniere is situated 3 kilometres from Exit 4 on the A11. Chartres is
one hour from Paris by road. La Sabionniere is a further thirty
minutes from Chartres. A total road journey time of one hour
thirty minutes from Porte d'Orleans or Porte d'Italie.
Rail stations at Nogent le Rotrou
and Brou are fifteen minutes away from La Sablonniere. Both
stations are between one and a half and two hours from Paris (Gare
de Montparnasse). Connections to Eurostar (Gare du Nord) are
direct from Montparnasse and take about twenty minutes.
The 16.35 Eurostar from St
Pancras would give an arrival at Nogent le Rotrou at 23.03.
Taxi or car service is available
to and from local stations and the cost is included in the room rate for
stays of three or more nights. A rental car obtained in Chartres
or Paris is recommended for extended stays to explore the area.

airport.
